WeMop

Accessibility

Last changed on 7 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use WeMop, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or switch, or who cannot rely on colour.

What we do

  • Text and controls are checked for contrast in the light and the dark theme.
  • Every button and field has a name a screen reader can say, and messages that appear are announced.
  • Buttons are large enough to tap, and the app and this site fit narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
  • Nothing depends on colour alone: every task is also a line of text with a tick.
  • Movement is reduced when your phone or computer asks for less motion.

These checks run automatically each time the app changes. We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

What is not there yet

  • Drawing the shape of a room and moving furniture on the plan needs touch or a pointer. You can start from a ready-made room instead.
  • WeMop has not yet been tested by people who use assistive technology every day. If that is you, we would like to hear from you.

Tell us

If something gets in your way, write to support@wemop.app. Say what you were doing and what you use, for example TalkBack or VoiceOver. We read every message.
