WeMop

Terms of use

Last changed on 7 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and the person who runs WeMop. By installing the app, creating an account or using this website, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use WeMop.

Who we are

Ana Carina Fernandes Rodrigues, in Portugal, runs WeMop. For anything about these terms, write to support@wemop.app.

What you may do

You may install WeMop and use it for yourself and the people you live with, on your own phones, for as long as you follow these terms. This permission is personal: you cannot sell it, rent it or pass it on.

What stays ours

The app and this website belong to us: the name WeMop, the logo, the design, the drawings, the texts, the way rooms and tasks are mapped, and the code. They are protected by copyright and other laws. Using WeMop does not give you any right over them.

You may not:

  • copy, republish or sell the app, this website or parts of them;
  • make another app or service out of our code, design, drawings or texts;
  • take the app apart to read or reuse its code (decompile, reverse-engineer or extract it), except where the law gives you that right and only as far as it does;
  • use the name WeMop, the logo or anything easily confused with them for something of your own;
  • collect content from the app or the website with automated tools;
  • get around the limits of the free plan or of a subscription, or disturb the service or other people’s use of it.

What stays yours

Your homes, rooms, tasks and cleaning history are yours. We use them only to make the app work for you and the people you share a home with, as the privacy policy describes. You can delete them at any time: see Delete your account.

Sharing a home

When you invite someone to a home, that person sees all of its rooms and tasks and what each person ticked. You choose what they may change. Invite only people you want to share that home with; you can remove a person at any time.

Free plan and Plus

WeMop has a free plan. Plus, the paid plan, is not on sale yet. When it is, the price is shown before you buy, payment and renewal are handled by the store you use (Google Play or the App Store), and you cancel there at any time, keeping Plus until the end of the period already paid. These terms will be updated before Plus goes on sale.

Test versions

Versions of the app shared before the store launch are for testing. They may change, lose data or stop working. Please do not pass them on.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We work to keep WeMop useful and available, but we provide it as it is: we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions, or that reminders will always arrive on time. WeMop helps you organise chores; it is not responsible for how they are done. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Ending

You can stop using WeMop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when that is possible.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or on this page before the change applies. The date at the top shows the current version.

Law

These terms follow the law of Portugal. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
